About AgentReadyBot

AgentReady is a tool that checks whether a business's public website is readable by AI assistants. To do that, a crawler named AgentReadyBot/0.1 visits a site the same way an AI assistant would.

How it works

• Fetches only the single domain you asked us to scan — never others.
• Reads robots.txt first and honors Disallow rules for our user agent.
• Visits at most 15 pages, 4 at a time, with a 5-second timeout each.
• Identifies itself with AgentReadyBot/0.1 in the User-Agent header.
• Does not execute JavaScript, store personal data, or attempt logins.

How to opt out

To stop AgentReadyBot from scanning your site, add a rule to your robots.txt:

User-agent: AgentReadyBot
Disallow: /

Note: blocking AgentReadyBot only blocks our scans. These checks are a proxy for how other AI assistants read your site.
